The POS, the install and the software fee are not a promotion. They are covered by the cash discount program on your card sales, so the register prints the same way every month.
Card payers pay the posted price. Cash payers get a small discount. Your processing cost comes off your books, and the system that runs your counter comes with it.

What You Pay Instead
- So what pays for the system?
- Your card processing. You run card payments through NJ POS Systems on a Global Payments merchant account. The cash discount program means the processing cost is built into the posted price and cash payers get a small discount, so the fee stops coming out of your deposits. That margin is what covers the hardware, the install and the software.
- Do I have to pass the fee to customers?
- No. Some owners would rather price their menu to absorb it and keep one price for everyone. We set the account up either way. The POS is still free.
- Is there a contract?
- There is a merchant agreement, like any processing account. We go through it with you line by line before you sign anything, and we put the terms in writing on the quote first.
- What if the hardware breaks?
- Installed systems are supported 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Swap-outs are handled through us, not a call center across the country.
- What do I have to qualify?
- A business that takes cards in New Jersey, New York or the East Coast, a short application, and a conversation about how your counter runs so we size the system right.
